Multi-Camera Production

Rotating Head Productions can record your live events using our multi-camera switching package.

Our basic multi-camera package comes with:

• three 16x9 switchable cameras with build up kits (large viewfinder, focus and zoom controls)
• tally lights
• talkback comms and return vision
• 3 CCU’s with 50 metres of multi-core each

This can be easily expanded to fill your needs:

• any mix of 8 component inputs 8 Y/C inputs, firewire or 24 composite inputs is possible
• add your own cameras or extra ones can be hired in
• also included is a scan converter to help capture those power point (or other) computer presentations that guest speakers seem to love so much

Got tape pieces (or sponsor slides, logos or other graphics) that you want to play out live during the show? Record them on to one of the hard drives before the gig, set your in and out points and any transitions and you’re ready to go – no need for a tape operator to cue up and play tapes.

Down Stream Keyer (DSK) for graphics – titles, supers, crawls, logos can be set up and faded in & out over the live switch.

The output can be recorded to Betacam SP and/or DVCam (or another format of your choice) with component or Y/C as well as composite outputs. Can also be recorded to hard drive uncompressed or compressed to various codecs (DV being the favourite) as well as piped to big screens at your venue.

As well as the main switched record output, each camera can also be iso recorded (with the addition of extra VTR’s) if needed for later playback or re-editing - either by us or another facility.
